We are currently in the process of having our plans approved by council and are now starting to search for quotes on Bricklaying. We shall be supplying the external brick work and the internal commons. What we are seeking is a Bricklayer to price us for Labour and Materials excluding the cost of the bricks. What we are looking for though is the Bricklayer to recommend to us how many bricks of external and commons to order and have ready for the proposed works. The project is single story double brick extension which is to be attached to the existing dwelling. THe project will be run as a Home Owners Builder

Building a new house in Twin Creeks. Looking for an architect that has worked on semi country/ contemporary style.

Paved path approx 50m long by 1m wide. Short retaining wall - 2m. Beautifying existing natural pond (large) with plants; erecting plastic pergola (already purchased) and paving under it (apprx 4sq m) (old red pavers already acquired). Erecting 2 fences: one 1.8m high by 10m in merbau; one 100m in corrugated iron.

I need to do an extension to the existing 2 bedrooms. The extension will be extended into the existing carport which is under the main roof and is on the slab. The approximate size of extension area would be 4M X 8M. Will required to build walls on 3 side using brick as materail and knocking down one side of the existing wall. An ensuite will also be included in the extension part linking to the master bedroom. An ensuite will be located on the rear end of the house which will be inline (pipes are running along the back wall) with the existing bath/toilet. Ensuite will be approximately 3M X 2M with basin, toilet and shower, all with hot cold water connection. Ensuite will have 1 light fitting, exhaust fan and a power point connection. The extension of the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom will have 1 power point connection each. All walls will be rendered on the inside. Floor covering will be laminated floor board. On the wall on both master bedroom and 2nd bedroom will have 1 power point connection each. Basicly its an extension to the existing 2 bedrooms with an extra ensuite to be built.
